Gynacantha basiguttata is one of the common aeshnid species in Peninsular Malaysia.

Tyriobapta laidlawi is no longer endemic to Borneo as it has been found in Peninsular Malaysia.

Brachygonia ophelia is no longer endemic to Borneo as it is now found in Peninsular Malaysia....

Orthetrum pruinosum is a beautiful Orthetrum species because of its blue and red body.

Four Odonata species have been added to the Odonata checklist of Peninsular Malaysia....
