Coeliccia kimurai

I was thrilled to record the presence of Coeliccia kimurai somewhere in Perak. The type spciemens (two specimens) were from southern of Thai Peninsula (Yala Provine) collected on July 26, 1988 by Y. Kimura. Asahina described the species after Kimura in 1990. Since then C. kimurai has not been spotted until May 2007 when two male specimens were caught somewhere in Negeri Sembilan. Now, this is the third location (somewhere in Perak) where C. kimurai has been recorded. Three male speciemens were caught in the third location. Showing below is one of the speciemens being caught in the thrid location.
