Libellulidae - Acisoma panorpoides

Acisoma panorpoides is one of the most common dragonfly species in Malaysia. It has a wide geographical distribution. It is normally found at open ponds, lakes and marshes. The unique marking easily identifies the species. The male adult has blue marking but the female has yellow marking.
