Larval Emergence - Neurothemis fluctuans
I caught some small size libellulid larvae a week ago and am breeding them in small aquarium. One of the larvae emerged yesterday. It appeared to be a male Neurothemis fluctuans. Neurothemis fluctuans is one of the most common dragonfly species in Peninsular Malaysia. The male has red colour wings and body while the female is in yellowish brown colour.
