Libellulidae - Aethriamanta brevipennis

Aethriamanta brevipennis is one of the most striking red colour dragonfly species. It is a medium size dragonfly normally found at exposed ponds and lakes. It is not a common dragonfly species. So far I have only encountered it at the pond adjacent to Bangi Forest Reserve.
