Copera marginipes

Platycnemididae - Copera marginipes (Rambur, 1842)

Copera marginipes is a beautiful damselfly species with yellow marking on its legs and thorax. It looks alike C. vittata and shares same habitat with C. vittata. However, both marginipes and vitatta can be distinguished by close look at their yellow marking on thorax - marginipes has clear yellow strips whereas the yellow marking on thorax for vittata is rather blur.
